Profile: Already dubbed "CSI-Dallas" the new state-of-the-art Institute includes the Medical Examiner's Office and the Crime Investigation Laboratory. The facility includes a three-story forensics lab, a two-story administration area, and a one-story autopsy and morgue. Laboratories include ballistics testing, and trace, DNA, and drug analysis. The forensic facility combines a family environment for visitors with enhanced security for emergency operations and top-of-the-line teaching and conference capabilities.
