Profile: A very aggressive schedule was needed for this new residence hall to meet growth demands at UNT. Rawlins is designed with 680 academically focused UNT Honors College students in mind-with an abundance of huddle spaces and activity areas-plus a faculty apartment. It features an interior neighborhood design to foster a sense of community; each neighborhood has a lounge and a study. Other common spaces include two multipurpose rooms, kitchen and laundry room, billiard room and library, two meeting rooms, an open concept lobby and a large porch at the rear that opens to a courtyard.
