Academic and Performing Arts Center, University of Texas - Pan American, Edinburg, Texas 

Profile: UT-Pan Am wanted a state-of-the-art venue to accompany the Fine Arts and Music buildings, allow space for 500 music and dance majors and staff, and renew its image as the cultural center of South Texas. The 1,000-seat multipurpose theater accommodates a variety of performances, and provides rehearsal spaces for band, orchestra, choir and mariachi/jazz emsembles. This project replaced two existing buildings and included renovations to two other buildings in the complex. Resulting spaces include faculty offices, classrooms, dressing rooms and support spaces.
